Spirosound, innovative technology for PADSY-Spiro
Spirosound uses innovative ultrasonic technology to measure respiratory flow, making it the ideal sensor for PADSY-Spiro. Calibration is not required, which contributes to the accuracy of the measurements. The flow measurement is accurate with minimal dead space and does not depend on the composition of the breathing gas. External factors such as temperature and humidity do not affect readings. The disposable Spirette™ guarantees optimum hygiene, eliminating the need for bacteria filters. Because the Spirosound has no moving parts, it is sturdy and robust, and can therefore be relied upon in the daily hospital routine.
